Bio: 
Stephenie Presseller is the Sustainability Manager for Moraine Valley Community College located in a suburb of Chicago, Palos Hills, Illinois. Stephenie manages the college’s Center for Sustainability. The Center supports broadly, greening of the campus; community outreach; student, staff and faculty engagement; greening curriculum and greening workforce; and communicating sustainability achievements. She is the Advisor to the Moraine Valley Go Green! Club, which is the group that participated in GADOS this year, 2017. She also serves several local and national committees: South Metropolitan Higher Education Consortium- Sustainability Task Force; Programs Committee-US Green Building Council-Illinois, 2011-present; Illinois Green Economy Network- Greening Your Curriculum facilitator & Network Affiliate, 2010-present; Illinois Green Governments Coordinating Council- Green Universities and Colleges sub-committee, 2012-2014; Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) Conference Steering Committee, 2011-2013; AASHE Advisory Council, 2014-present; and Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) Citizens Advisory Council, 2013-present. Stephenie lives in Chicago, a transplant from Southwest Florida, enjoys lazy days in the sun with her ridiculously small dog-the cat and turtle are inside pets only, spends free time biking & running around the City, exploring the Forest Preserves or having brunch with friends, and looks forward to Spring every Winter. Stephenie is a graduate of Santa Fe Community College (AA), Hodges University (BS Interdisciplinary Studies) and American Public University (MPA: Environmental Policy and Organizational Development).
