I am the assistant principal at Winterville Elementary in WInterville, Georgia, where I have worked since Fall 2016. I have been in education for 21 years - nine as a high school math teacher, and 12 as an elementary school assistant principal. I have also taught college math part time for the past 20 years. I am from Albany, Georgia and am the daughter of a preacher and a retired teacher. I have a sister and three brothers. I have a passion for educating children not only in academics but also in being good, responsible citizens. This is why I pushed for our school to become green and started the initiative this year.
