Karen Rose Garden Outdoor Classroom Planting Day

May 23, 2018

The Karen Rose Garden Outdoor Classroom is prepped and ready for planting on Wednesday, May 23, parent volunteers, teachers, and students will help get the pollinator plants in the ground. Students will learn about the importance of pollinators in our ecosystem and how we can help protect pollinators, while having a chance to dig in and do some gardening. Over the summer raised beds for vegetable gardens, benches, and a stage will be constructed. The space will be a great learning space for years to come and a tribute to an amazing lifelong volunteer at Stonebridge - Karen Rose.
