DC staff will visit our closest local net zero energy school (Discovery Elementary) to experience first-hand the impact of a green school. Staff will follow the visit and tour by volunteering to create an outdoor classroom at Washington Yu Ying, rearranging existing planting beds to allow classes to meet and learn outside.
