Earth Movers Butterfly Garden

September 18, 2017

Earth Movers garden club planted native Milkweed plants to attract the Monarch Butterfly since the population of the Monarch is declining. Planted around the flagpole area which everyone sees when walking into entrance of school. It is also located near the outdoor classroom. Monarchs were attracted to the milkweed and eggs were laid, and catepillars were born to start the life cycle of the Monarch butterfly again.
