Date TBD, Pollinator Garden prep

October 02, 2017

Date TBD.
Weekday morning between October 2 – October 13.
Great Opportunity for a Corporate Group!

Volunteer with Bridging The Gap to prep ground for a pollinator garden at an elementary school in the Shawnee Mission School District! Weekdays are preferred, and the workday is 3 hours.

Prep work includes: removing turf, laying cardboard, installing edging, and applying pea gravel and mulch. We’ll also be digging holes and planting trees. The kids will install the garden later alongside their teachers. No experience is necessary. Tools and equipment will be provided. Only one person per registration form, please. Min age: 16.

If you have a group and would like to set a date with us, contact Amanda, Pollinator Program Manager, at [email protected].

We apologize that we are not able to offer or sign off on court-mandated community service or disciplinary service.
