Our project is to increase the amount of material that we compost into our garden. We are hoping to provide small compost collectors for each classroom and then provide space in the garden for each class to bury their compostable material. this will provide nutrients for our garden, increase soil biodiversity, and reduce the amount of material we are sending to the landfill. After we compost an area, we will plant with either lettuce, annual rye grass, winter wheat, or mulch it with straw
