September 30, 2017

BOMAGTB (Building Owners and Managers Association of Greater Tampa Bay) teams up with USGBC (United States Green Building Council) to bring the Green Apple Day of Service to Cross Bayou Elementary School in Pinellas County.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 7 AM – 10 AM at Cross Bayou Elementary School located at: 6886 102nd Ave N, Pinellas Park, FL 33782. Members of BOMAGTB’s Sustainability Committee coordinated the event to help the school and surrounding community become more familiar with the importance of sustainable practices both at school and at home.

BOMAGTB along with special guest speakers from Edible Peace Patch Project will help educate participants about sustainable practices while building a no-till framed garden, 3 rain barrel rain harvesting system and a 3 stage compost bin area on the school campus.
